Message from the Chair
Hi fellow Ralliers,
As I write these few words I have just finished getting my Fishing Tackle ready for this week's Rally at Cheriton Farm. Not sure I will catch much but it is the taking part that counts.
We also have the Chairman's Rally at Mapledurham Estate just round the corner, another chance to take home a trophy. Probably a better chance than our football team. Take a moment to check out our Rally programme as we still have plenty of spaces available on most Rallies.
Can I take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to Maggie Biddlecombe, who has recently joined your Committee. She will take up the position of Rally Secretary and has started work on the 2027 programme of Rallies. If you have any suggestions or would indeed like to run a Rally, please get in touch with her or any Committee member.
In my last post I gave you some details on the Chairman's Charity for my term, BIBS. I am delighted to say the contributions so far are magnificent. Thank you so much. If you have any spare change, I will still be rattling my tins!
Behind the scenes, the Committee has been working hard - alongside my son Jack - on developing our brand new Website & Booking system. This has been a major project, and we hope to be launching this at this year’s AGM. The new platform is much more user friendly on mobile devices.
That’s all for now, hope to see you soon on a Rally Field.
Regards,
Phil Tidbury
